Caroline Peaty, the mother of Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, is reportedly set to appear in Gordon Ramsay’s Netflix documentary despite asking not to be featured.

Being Gordon Ramsay is a six-part documentary series following the famous chef as he endeavors to juggle his growing business and family life.

As the Hell’s Kitchen host attempts to open five culinary experiences at 22 Bishopsgate, one of London’s tallest buildings, the programme documents his journey over a six month window.

The show also focuses on his role as a husband to wife Tana, and father to his six children – including his second-eldest daughter, Holly Ramsay.

She married world record breaker Adam last year, following a feud with his family.

However, according to The Sun, Caroline still features in the Netflix documentary despite calling to be removed.

The publication says filming shows both families in attendance at the couple’s engagement party in December 2024, with Caroline seen briefly at the do.

She reportedly wrote to the streamer saying they were not asked for their consent to be filmed and didn’t want to be in the documentary.

The paper has also confirmed that a source close to Gordon said filming notices were displayed at the bash in London, and that ‘by attending you were giving your consent to film in the show.’

They added that the Peaty family members weren’t interviewed so ‘no additional consent would have been needed’ and ‘it’s possible they may not even make the final edit’.

Caroline’s apparent request came after she was allegedly ‘banned’ from attending her son’s wedding and other family members uninvited.

The celebration took place at Bath Abbey on December 27, and conversation around the invite list dominated headlines in the days surrounding the event.

It began after Holly’s hen do at Soho Farmhouse, from which Adam’s Mum was noticeably absent.

Guests in attendance included Victoria Beckham, Holly’s Mum Tana, and Adam’s sister Bethany.

The aunt of the sportsman spoke out at the time and said her sister had been ‘broken’ by her son and fiancée at the time, and was ‘not ok’.

Drama ensued in the lead-up to the wedding after Adam’s brother was reportedly arrested after the swimmer’s stag do.

Bethany acted as one of Holly’s maids of honour on the big day, but other members of Adam’s family were not present.

In the aftermath of the whole affair, Gordon spoke to The Daily Mail, and said: ‘It’s all self-inflicted from their side, because we’ve done nothing – none of what you’ve read: no rudeness, no ignorance – we welcomed them.’

Speaking about the engagement party where Caroline is said to have been filmed, Gordon claimed: ‘We sent a chauffeur-driven car for them to come to the engagement party and treated them like royalty. So to get that barrage of press was very hurtful. Tana took it very seriously.’
