Princess and Junior Andre have reportedly signed up for a huge BBC reality series as their TV careers continue to take off.
After spending much of their lives in the public eye as the children of Katie Price and Peter Andre, Princess, 18, and Junior, 20, seem to be cementing their position as regular fixtures on our screens.
Last week, the duo appeared on ITV’s This Morning to discuss their mum’s recent whirlwind marriage to businessman Lee Andrews, 41 after she and Peter made a shock joint statement about ‘moving forward’.
This came after a source claimed that Princess was ‘horrified and desperate’ to save her mum from her new husband.
Now, however, it has been reported that Princess and Junior will be taking on Celebrity Race Across The World together.
It has been alleged that the siblings have already flown out of the UK to the unknown destination to start filming for the BBC series.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Princess and Junior have proven themselves to be well-mannered, hardworking kids and opportunities continue to come their way.
‘Execs were impressed with the ratings for The Princess Diaries but also how they came across. They’re brilliant signings for Celeb Race as they bring with them a younger audience.
‘But bosses are also looking forward to seeing how they cope with the stripped-back style of travelling as they’re more at home in five- star hotels than a hostel.’
As Junior continues to forge a path for himself in the music industry, his sister Princess is set to star in the second series of her reality series, The Princess Diaries, which airs on ITV2.
Ahead of the second season’s release, Princess claimed that her mum and dad’s feud ‘ruined’ her ITV reality series and left her feeling ‘genuinely’ upset.
She said in an interview: ‘It really upset me – I genuinely felt bad. I was so excited for the show to come out and I still got amazing support, but it ruined it and upset me that it was causing arguments.
‘It felt like it was all my fault. I thought: “Oh my god, this is not what I wanted.”’
If Princess and Junior do appear on Celebrity Race Across the World, which the BBC has not yet confirmed, they’ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of brother-and-sister duo Roman Kemp and Harleymoon Kemp who clinched victory on the series.
Molly Rainford and Tyler West came narrowly behind in second after boat troubles and a tense race to the finish line.
Meanwhile, Dylan Llewellyn and his mum, Jackie, who endured an emotional journey, withdrew due to budget issues
