Cruz Beckham has seemingly fired a missive at his brother Brooklyn Beckham, with the lyrics of his upcoming single.

The 21-year-old has launched a fledgling music career, and his latest single includes some choice lyrics, which will raise eyebrows given the ongoing estrangement between Brooklyn and his wider family.

The youngest Beckham appears to have branded his oldest brother ‘lonely’ in the new track, which is titled as such.

Loneliest Boy comes ahead of Cruz’s upcoming whistlestop tour, which will see him perform the new single and a range of other songs he’s put out in recent months, racking up over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

This new song hasn’t yet been officially released, but he’s been giving fans a rendition of it on stage and the lyrics have been added to Genius.

They seem to hint at the family rift, including lyrics about ‘breaking mama’s heart’.

In one verse, he sings: ‘Loneliest boy, place all your bets on him, to find something bad in somebody good, he always does.

‘Loneliest boy, I hope that you’re listening. Don’t push all your friends away, when we’re tryna show you love.’

Elsewhere, the chorus goes: ‘So tell me you’re scared, and that you need someone to hold. Cause you’re in the room but really, does it even show?

‘But, why can’t they see that you’re a million miles away. They’ll never know, when you look so close.’

The second verse then adds to the intrigue, going: ‘Loneliest boy, mama don’t talk too much, it’s breaking hеr heart.

‘It shows in the small things that you don’t do, I guess in thе end that it’s you, yourself, and you. Tell me how do you live, when you’ve got nobody to lose?’

The new track comes after Cruz said he is still hopeful about reconciling with his brother, who set off an internet quake in January, when he accused his parents, Sir David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, of ‘controlling’ him.

When Cruz was recently out and about in Paris with his girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30, a videographer asked around Brooklyn’s 27th birthday: ‘Any chance you guys will repair the relationship? Are you hopeful for that?’

‘Hopefully,’ Cruz said in response to the question.
