Kelly Osbourne has once again addressed the criticism about her body, asking people to stop ‘kicking her while she’s down’.
She appeared at the Brit Awards alongside her mum, Sharon Osbourne, as the ceremony honoured the late Ozzy Osbourne.
The Osbournes star, 41, has previously explained she is ‘ill’ because she is still grieving the death of her father but comments on her thinness have continued.
Her very public appearance on stage to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the Black Sabbath legend has forced her to speak up once again.
‘There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.’
Kelly continued: ‘None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absense of compassion and character. I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life.
‘I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanised in such a way!’
This is not the first time Kelly has had to hit out at ‘too thin’ speculations, having posted a similar message just last week.
‘Literally can’t believe how disgusting some human beings truly are!’ she wrote on Instagram with a screenshot of her comments section.
‘No one deserves this sort of abuse,’ the reality TV star added, followed by recent photos of herself from London Fashion Week.
The horrific comment, which had garnered considerable backlash, compared Kelly to a ‘dead body’, horrifically joking that she was ‘going to see her dad soon’.
The Black Sabbath icon died aged 76 in July 2025, weeks after his final concert, which could now be turned into a hologram experience.
Fans blasted the ‘disgraceful’ comment, asking if the person had ‘no empathy’ for the grieving family.
In December, Kelly addressed the bombardment of comments about her body, calling it ‘disgusting, horrible, mean, and brutal.’
She wrote: ‘What do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like right now? The fact I’m getting out of bed, facing my life and trying should be more than enough. I should be commended for that.’
As well as blasting the ‘bullies’, Kelly pointed out that most people were comparing her now, in her 40s, to her teenage self.
‘People’s faces change when you grow older,’ she added. ‘What I find the most disappointing in all of this is most of the comments are coming from grown ass women.
‘It’s devastating women can’t support other women. They’d rather tear them down when their dad’s just died. It’s disgusting and I’ve had enough.’
Kelly and her father were incredibly close and his death ‘flipped her life upside down’.
Alongside Sharon, Jack and their rarely seen sister Aimee, she attended the Grammys and watched on teary-eyed as an emotional tribute was paid to Osbourne.
Post Malone performed Ordinary Man for the In Memoriam section, joined on stage by Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Slash and Duff McKagan from Guns ‘n’ Roses and Andrew Watt, who produced the song.
While on Piers Morgan for her first interview after Osbourne’s death, Sharon shared that Kelly ‘can’t eat right now’ because ‘she’s lost her daddy.’
On what would have been the Crazy Train legend’s 77th birthday, Kelly said she ‘hadn’t slept’ as it had been ‘an emotional one’.
She visited Black Sabbath Bench in Birmingham, showing all the flowers fans had left in tribute in her post.
‘Happy birthday daddy, you most certainly did not die an ordinary man!’ she wrote. ‘Life without you is hard but not a day goes by that I don’t dedicate my life to loving you and your legacy… What I would not give to watch you blow out just one more candle.’
In her own post, Sharon shared: ‘My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side.’
Osbourne died of a heart attack on July 22, 2025, after years of declining health, including a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis.
His death sparked huge tributes in his hometown of Birmingham, where his funeral was held, and worldwide.
He and Black Sabbath were pioneers of the metal genre, and Osbourne is remembered as one of the greatest rock stars of all time.
