Kim Kardashian may be a billionaire superstar, but she proved she’s just as clumsy as the rest of us after tripping up in a pair of towering heels.
The reality TV icon, 45, shared her lavish get-ready-with-me for the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party on her social media, where she donned a floor-length golden Gucci gown as glittering as an Academy Award statuette and a matching pair of $80 (£60) stilettos.
Specifically, she was sporting massive eight-inch heels with the help of a four-inch platform.
After a photo shoot showing off her skintight dress, she headed to the must-attend event of the night and quickly ran into trouble.
As we see in the video, she questions if her left shoe ‘should be tighter’ as she’s walking along in a moment of ominous foreshadowing.
Surely enough, the next clip shows her ankle giving way as she crashes into the bushes with a shriek as her entourage, including friend Stephanie Shepherd, races to grab her.
An unassuming lady walking past with what looked like a cakebox was also jostled in the sudden fall as Kim profusely apologised, adding: ‘I’m nervous for the carpet’.
Upright once more, she laments ‘my ankle’, before bravely proclaiming: ‘Let me try to walk on it.’
Once she has resumed walking, she tells her group: ‘F**k that poor lady, I grabbed her. I grabbed the old lady’s box.’
She then diagnosed that the problem was indeed the left foot, which she requests be made tighter.
All in all, a dramatic entrance to the star-studded bash for Skims founder and perhaps the most relatable a Kardashian has been since Kourtney’s scathing: ‘Kim, there’s people that are dying’ as her sister mourned the loss of her $75,000 (£56k) diamond earring in the ocean.
The incident wasn’t enough to shake her, though, with the video concluding with her confidently posing for photos on the carpet, even if it was a slightly stilted walk along it.
At the event, she was in good company, including sister Kylie Jenner, who is dating Oscar nominee Timothee Chalamet who was coming off the back of his third loss.

Also in attendance were Heated Rivarly breakouts Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, and Jeff Goldblum with his wife Emilia Livingston.
Meanwhile, the aspiring lawyer has been the centre of her own romance rumours in recent weeks after she was spotted on a romantic getaway with F1 champion Lewis Hamilton and cheering on the Super Bowl.
Her speculated beau has remained tight-lipped about any blossoming love, however.
In February, he offered a snappy response to any chatter about his life off-the-racetrack, saying: ‘It’s my private life. I’m not talking about that.’
