Lorna Luxe has shared the gift her husband, John Andrews, left her ahead of his death.

The influencer announced yesterday that her husband of 16 years had died from his stage four adrenal cancer, with which he was diagnosed in 2023 and documented his treatment for on social media.

Lorna, 43, shared the sad news that Andrews, 64, died at their home, writing that they were in bed, holding hands, which is ‘exactly what he wanted’.

Declaring him a ‘class act’ and vowing to ‘love [him] forever’, the fashionista added that she is ‘heartbroken’.

A day later, she returned to Instagram to repost tributes to Andrews, with whom she spoke openly about their age gap relationship.

She also said she had been making her way through unopened mail, with one package in particular leaving her with a fond smile.

‘I’ve been opening mail and this big envelope addressed to John arrived a couple of weeks ago so I opened it’, she wrote to her 1.7million followers.

Inside were several Valentine’s cards, one with a couple’s selfie on the front and surrounded by the word ‘LOVE’, while the others were more comical, with Lorna’s face edited onto the Mona Lisa and Andrews as Cupid.

‘Legendary behaviour here John’, she said. ‘It was the chuckle I needed’.

She then shared a sweet clip of herself and Andrews wearing matching outfits, posing at home in the mirror in cream knitwear and denim jeans.

With an arm wrapped around his wife, Andrews kissed Lorna on the head and told her: ‘I love you so much. You’re the best thing in the world for me.’

Following her devastating announcement on Thursday evening, Lorna has been inundated with support from her fans and celebrity friends.

Under her original post, in which she also expressed her gratitude for the nurses who cared for Andrews in his final days, Rochelle Humes commented: ‘I love you my darling and I’m so sorry. We are all here ❤️’

‘Oh Lorna can’t find any words. Love you both ❤️ sending so much love ❤️’, said Abbey Clancy.

Lisa Snowdon added that, while she had ‘never met John, [she] could sense what a beautiful soul he was’.

Holly Willoughby, Myleene Klass, Michelle Keegan, and Susanna Reid were also among those offering their condolences.

Lorna met her late partner at a bar in Brighton, telling The Sun just weeks ago that she ‘very quickly’ knew he was The One.

‘He was just brilliant and so much fun,’ she shared, and they married on her 26th birthday.

‘At first, I thought, “Who’s this older bloke chatting to me?” I was young and rated myself, so I was going, “Who do you think you are?”,’ she joked.

‘But then as soon as I talked to him, I was thinking, “Wow, who is this charismatic man?”

‘John was the first man I was ever in awe of. He was immediately interesting to me.’

She added that Andrews ‘went to town on gifts’, which evidently remained a priority to him until his final days, having made sure she wouldn’t go without on Valentine’s Day, even with his health declining in recent weeks.

The couple lived together in a gorgeous £2.5million mansion in Warwickshire, where Lorna runs her three businesses from.

Famously open with her online following, she revealed Andrews’ stage three adrenal cancer in April 2023, for which he underwent chemotherapy.

He went into remission that November, but his cancer returned in May 2024, spreading to his brain.

Last month, she shared that treatment was no longer an option.

The end of 2025 was then tough for them, as he was rushed to hospital in December with sepsis but managed to defy the odds so he could spend Christmas at home.

Lorna was informed that she should be preparing for the worst, but the pair of them maintained an optimistic mindset.

Speaking in January, she added that she was ‘taking each week as it comes’ as they didn’t know ‘how long’ they had.

She and Andrews – who don’t have children – were also keen to make memories with holidays and various trips, as she rightly said: ‘We can’t take that money with us, right?’

What is adrenal cancer?

Adrenal cancer is a rare cancer that starts in the adrenal glands. There are two of these, and they sit atop each kidney. The full name for the tumour is phaeochromocytoma.

As explained by the NHS, the tumour is mainly found in adults, although children can sometimes develop one.

While most do not spread to other body parts, one in 10 do; they are called metastatic phaeochromocytomas.

Symptoms of a phaeochromocytoma tend to be unpredictable, often occuring as sudden attacks, which may last from a few minutes to an hour and become more frequent and severe as the tumour grows.

The signs include:

  • headaches
  • heavy sweating
  • heart palpitations
  • high blood pressure
  • a pale face
  • feeling or being sick
  • feeling anxious or panicky
  • shakiness (tremor)

Andrews’ last hospital stint did push them to ‘get [their] ducks in a row’, though, as she was suddenly confronted with the harsh reality of being a widow in her forties.

‘We changed accountants; we got better lawyers. He said we need to prepare, so if he’s not here, things will be done and I won’t have to worry.’

As for whether kids could be on the cards in the future, she made a quip about potentially adopting in her fifties but admitted it would be a ‘struggle without John around’.

‘If it really comes to the forefront of my mind, I’ll make it happen.’
