Manhunt underway for suspect who fled court moments after admitting drug charges

This is the moment a suspect ran away from court in the middle of a hearing.

A manhunt is now underway after Abu Faye, 26, fled on foot from Croydon Crown Court on Tuesday, March 17.

He ran away from the courthouse just after 4pm during a hearing for drug offences on after learning that a judge wanted to remand him in custody.

The Met Police have put out a public appeal 13 days later to try find the suspect, who has links to Penge and Cambridge.

Faye had been charged with five counts of possession with intent to supply and five counts of possession of Class A and Class B drugs.

He admitted the latter five charges.
