Former Migos rapper Offset is ‘receiving medical care’ after being shot outside a casino in Florida.

Two people were arrested outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, for shooting the 34-year-old star.

It comes four years after fellow Migos member, Takeoff, died aged 28 from ‘penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into the arm’.

It’s since been confirmed by his representatives that the rapper, who is Cardi B’s ex, is ‘fine’ but remains in the hospital ‘receiving medical care’.

‘He is stable and being closely monitored,’ a representative for Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, shared.

Police were on site quickly, with a video circulating allegedly showing the aftermath of the shooting, with officers restraining one man on the ground.

In a statement to the Daily Mail, the Seminole Police Department said: ‘We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.

‘Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly,’ they continued. ‘Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing.

‘The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.’

Offset had reportedly been taking a call when fans approached him earlier that evening, posing for photos and chatting before the shooting began.

Migos, the hip hop trio consisting of Offset, Takeoff and Quavo, formed in the early 00s, with their debut single Versace gaining attention in 2013 when it was remixed by Drake.

The group were credited for their influence on the trap genre and are best known for hit song Bad and Boujee with Lil Uzi Vert.

They disbanded in 2022, months before Takeoff, real name Kirshnick Khari Ball, was fatally shot at a private party he was at with his uncle, Quavo.

A 23-year-old man named Patrick Xavier Clark was arrested and charged, with the trial set to go ahead in November after being delayed over several years.

At the time, he was with Cardi B, however, they called it quits in December 2023 before the Bodak Yellow rapper officially filed for divorce in July 2024.

She has since moved on with NFL star Stefon Diggs and welcomed a child with him, her fourth after sharing three kids with Offset.

They now co-parent Kulture Kiari Cephus, seven, Wave Set Cephus, four, and Blossom Belle Cephus, one.

Offset is also father to Jordan Cephus, 16, Kody Cephus, 11, and Kalea Marie Cephus, 11, from previous relationships.
