Harry Styles isn’t the only one with new music out today – the UK’s Eurovision entry has released his song for the competition.
In Look Mum No Computer’s experimental tune, Eins, Zwei, Drei he sings about the mundanity of the nine to five and his challenge getting through the day.
Despite having a German song title, the lyrics and music video pay homage to classic English food and beverages – including a digestive biscuit dipped into a mug of baked beans.
A pepperoni pizza with teeth also features in the fantastically chaotic music video, before a car flies off a coastal cliff, leaving behind trails of the Union Jack’s colours.
The tune had its first radio play on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show this morning, and in an interview with BBC Radio 2, Look Mum No Computer said: ‘I want people to be able to dance, shout, singalong, and just embrace the absurd jubilation that I hope it sparks when you listen to it.
‘We’re working hard on pulling together all the elements to make it one of the wildest performances to ever grace the Eurovision stage, which is no small feat! See you in Vienna!’
UK Eurovision commentator, Graham Norton, said of the tune: ‘This year’s song is a real banger. Joyful and supremely catchy. Hopefully it can get the rest of Europe singing along.’
The lyrics to the song help explain the numerical title. Look Mum No Computer sings: ‘Ah, if only there was a language that I can count in that would make me feel better…
‘Eins, zwei, drei.’
Bringing the performance to life on stage at the singing competition in May will be Fredrik ‘Benke’ Rydman, the creative behind some memorable Eurovision performances including Switzerland’s 2024 winner, Nemo.
That same year, the UK came 18th as Olly Alexander performed the song Dizzy. Fast forward twelve months and we didn’t do any better, finishing in 19th place.
The country doesn’t typically do well in Eurovision, but in 2022 Sam Ryder shot to the top of the leaderboard and came second.
Where has the UK come in the last 10 years of Eurovision?
In the last ten years, the UK has come in the following positions at the Eurovision Song Contest:

- 2018: 24th place with SuRie’s Storm
- 2019: 26th place with Michael Rice’s Bigger than Us

- 2024: 18th place with Olly Alexander’s Dizzy
- 2025: 19th place with Remember Monday’s What the Hell Just Happened?
Last year, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Iceland announced they would boycott the competition if Israel takes part.
Eurovision boss Martin Green said in statement following the news: ‘We know many fans want us to take a defined position on geo-political events. But the only way the Eurovision Song Contest can continue to bring people together is by ensuring we are guided by our rules first and foremost.
‘As we look to next year, we will ensure that all participating broadcasters respect the rules of the competition and if they don’t you have a personal pledge from me, we will not tolerate it and call it out.’
Eins, Zwei, Drei is available to stream an all platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
