Harry Styles and Zoe Kravitz’s romance looks like it could go the distance, according to these new photos.
The Aperture hitmaker, 32, and Emmy-nominated actress, 37, were first spotted together last summer, sending fans into a frenzy with their PDA on an Italian getaway.
Since then, they’ve been anything but shy about showcasing their blossoming relationship, with Harry dining out with Zoe’s famous parents, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, and the Caught Stealing star attending his recent Manchester concert.
And in their latest outing, the lovebirds proved their commitment to one another, with body language expert Judi James explaining to Metro that they appear to have an ‘uncomplicated, happy, and ego-free relationship,’ despite both being A-listers with talent and charisma levels ‘off the chart’.
The new snaps show Harry and Zoe walking arm-in-arm in New York City.
Known for his fashion sense both on and off the stage, Harry sported a casual navy jacket with a hoodie underneath, jogging bottoms, and a pair of Adidas trainers.
He added a pair of snazzy shades and a beanie, seemingly in an attempt to remain as undetected as possible.
As for Zoe, she looked chic in a khaki trench coat, paired with a sweet knitted blue hat and brown handbag.
Looking up at Harry with a smile, she held to him as they chatted while walking.
‘Most A-list couples show signs of a power imbalance or an imbalance in neediness, clinginess, or a desire to flaunt for fame. Harry and Zoe both look remarkably low-key here, though,’ says Judi.
‘They are snuggling together dressed in the kind of emphatic casuals that suggest a desire to avoid too much attention and to act like normal people, but also suggesting neither is precious or private enough to appear annoyed or alarmed by the camera attention.’
She adds that ‘they both show the kind of lack of muscle tension that lets you know they’re relaxed and upbeat together here’ and ‘both wear suppressed smiles, showing a delight in being together’.
‘There are no romantic showmanship performances here, but there is a quiet sense of relatable romance in the way they walk together. The look suggests they’re more than just friends, but we can also see they’re not forming the kind of “display” relationship that usually involves more overkill kissing and smooching to sell the relationship when there is a camera around.’
Harry is no stranger to a public fling, with his exes including Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift, Taylor Russell, and Olivia Wilde.
Therefore, Judi argues that his ‘current level of success and fame could easily leave him very isolated, surrounded more by his crew and professional management than by the kind of friends he can just relax with and be his authentic self.’
However, with Zoe, ‘he seems to have found someone who almost matches him in terms of professional profile but who has also grown up in a very A-list family and who therefore knows how the system works.’
‘The way she clings to Harry’s arm and gazes up at him shows appreciation and fondness,’ she notes. ‘But she can probably be an ideal partner in terms of supporting him through all the road humps of fame.’
Despite a slew of public sightings, Harry and Zoe have remained publicly tight-lipped on how things are developing.
But in a new interview to promote his fourth number one solo album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, Harry opened up about the future and possibly settling down.
Speaking to Zane Lowe for Apple Music, the Grammy winner explained that his new tune American Girls is a commentary on how he’s watched his friends get married and have kids, realising he also wants that for himself.
‘It’s like being truly vulnerable with someone, like sharing a life with someone like that. Having the time to stop and assess all of it and really look at my life from a bird’s eye view and go, “What do I actually want in my life?”,’ he said.
‘I have all these things around me all the time. It’s hard to pull those things in without making space for them.
‘What are the things I really want in my life? If you’re, like, touring all the time and you’re doing this all the time and all these things, there’s no space to really choose.
‘I think I had a real honest conversation with myself about, “OK, in five years, what do I want my life to look like? And then how do I make changes to aim at that?”‘
He went on to say he doesn’t want to be someone who ends up alone, wanting to ultimately be ‘fulfilled’ and ‘in great relationships with people’.
‘I want a family,’ he declared. ‘I want these things. It (time away from the spotlight and making his album) just allowed me to go, like, “OK, what do I have to do to create space to allow these things to happen? I can’t expect them to just happen to me”.’
On what the ‘right person’ is to him, while not mentioning his relationship with Zoe explicitly, he said he wants someone to ‘hold [him] accountable to the person they know [he] wants to be’.
‘When you challenge me on something, it’s a gift to me, actually.’
While speculation around his private liaisons has been a hot topic of gossip since Harry was propelled to stardom as a teen, he’s now more able to poke fun at the rumours, particularly when it comes to sexuality.
Hosting SNL over the weekend, he addressed ‘queerbaiting’ accusations in his monologue, having been criticised for hinting at same-sex relationships without confirming them in the past.
Fans have long defended his privacy on such matters, while also valuing the safe space he creates for LGBTQ+ fans at concerts by waving pride flags and helping audience members to ‘come out’.
In a tongue-in-cheek moment on Saturday, he quipped that, when he’s hosted before, ‘people seemed to pay a lot of attention to the clothes [he] was wearing and some people accused [him] of something called “queerbaiting”.’
‘But did it ever occur to you that maybe you don’t know everything about me, Dad?’, he yelled jokingly, grabbing co-star Ben Marshall for a smooch.
‘Now that’s queerbaiting,’ he winked down the camera.
