Zendaya and Tom Holland have been making headlines recently after fans became convinced they secretly tied the knot.
While the Euphoria star, who appeared to reveal a shiny gold wedding band at Paris Fashion Week last month, has been quick to dodge the rumours, she has opened up more generally about their relationship — including Tom’s love language.
Speaking on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Zendaya shared that Tom is the ‘better’ cook out of them both, and that he has been learning to make vegetarian dishes for her to try.
‘It’s really sweet,’ the 29-year-old said of his romantic gesture.
Fans will know that Zendaya has been a vegetarian since she was 11 years old, after she learned about what happens at slaughterhouses. She has also long described herself as an ‘animal lover.’
During the interview, Zendaya went on to explain that Tom’s brother is a chef who has just released a new cookbook.
‘Tom will whip it out and be like, “Okay I am going to find all the vegetarian things and I’m going try different recipes from my brother for you to try.”‘
Elsewhere, Zendaya admitted that, while Tom is the ‘better’ chef, she does have a few culinary tricks up her sleeve.
Referencing Tom’s boast that she makes an ‘amazing spicy vodka pasta,’ she gushed that she ‘tries [her] best.’
‘I’ve got a few things that I like that I can do, so I stick with that,’ she shared.
Zendaya and Tom are a notoriously private couple who have previously shared how much they value their personal life.
So, it’s a major treat for fans whenever either of them reveals snippets of their life. Even if it is just about their nightly cooking rota.
The pair first met over a decade ago filming Spider-Man: Homecoming, and confirmed their relationship in 2021.
After years of being a low-key A-list couple, Zendaya then gave fans their most exciting bit of news in a long time back in January: rocking up to the Golden Globes wearing a huge diamond engagement ring.
While vowing to keep her relationship private — Zendaya recently said she has ‘boundaries’ and is ‘protective’ of it — it’s her professional life currently taking centre stage.
2026 is a huge year for Zendaya releases, with Euphoria season 3, Dune: Part Three, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day all dropping within the next eight months.
She’s currently promoting the highly anticipated film The Drama, alongside Robert Pattinson, which landed in cinemas over the weekend.
And, considering Zendaya said she’ll be ‘disappearing’ for a while after such a hectic schedule, we’re guessing the only wedding we’ll likely hear about is this fictional film version.
