A Hollywood star has left fans ‘disgusted’ after claiming that the ‘majority of immigrants are murderers’.

Known for being a daredevil stunt performer on MTV’s Jackass, Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Glover, made the comments on a podcast appearance.

Speaking to comedian Harland Williams on his Steve-O’s Wild Ride! podcast, the 51-year-old TV personality said: ‘These people who are illegaly in America, right, it’s like the majority of them are murderers.’

Responding to his statement, Harland said: ‘No that’s a fallacy, that’s a huge fallacy.’

He then explained: ‘To say there’s 30million illegals, to say that most of them are murderers. That’s improbable. The reality is probably 0.01% of them are murderers.

‘Now, they’re bad people, they’re murderers, they shouldn’t be here, but most of them are not.’

Replying back, Steve-O added: ‘Well okay, fair point, but a great many of them are trafficking fentanyl.’

Harland then said: ‘Look, when you’re here illegally and you might not have the means to go through legal channels to work or find a way to feed your family or whatever.

‘There might be a propensity for you to have to do illegal activity to feed yourself and keep your lifeline going.

‘That’s more probable, but murder doesn’t make sense.’

Known for his dangerous stunts, Steve-O climbed a crane in 2015 to protest against SeaWorld, which resulted in a jail sentence.

After living in London for nearly a decade during his youth, he has also been open about his addiction to substances.

In 2023, he also decided to jump off Tower Bridge as a stunt, which led to him being detained by police.

A shocking clip showed the 51-year-old diving off the bridge into the River Thames with a Union Jack umbrella in his hand.

Metro has contacted Steve-O’s representatives for comment.
