Emmerdale fans have spent months wondering if the Dingles and Miligans are really in the clear after Anthony Fox’s murder in the ITV soap – especially with John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) having scheduled an incriminating email.
Viewers will know that Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) killed Anthony after he sexually abused her as a child.
However, it was John that hid Anthony’s body, and he was the only one who knew where it was for a significant period of time.
Last week, John’s other crimes were finally exposed, and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was keen to avenge son Nate Robinson’s death.
He got quite a shock when brother Caleb Miligan (William Ash) appeared to double-cross him and helped John flee the country.
It transpired that the pair had come to a deal, with John promising to delete his email and reveal the location of Anthony’s body if Caleb helped him run.

Ever since John hid Anthony’s body, fans have wondered if it may end up causing more trouble for the group of characters involved.
However, it seems that the whole ordeal is finally dead and buried – quite literally, in this case – as actor William Ash revealed at the Cure Usher Ball.
‘I think that’s been put to bed now,’ he told me, before admitting that he’s ‘not 100% certain’.
‘Unless the writers have got something in mind, because we never actually saw what happened. We never actually saw the body.
‘I think off screen, Caleb has actually moved that body somewhere else, so I think it’s well and truly finished.’
In terms of how Caleb’s actions will impact his relationship with Cain, Will warned that there will be some animosity for a while.
‘Caleb and Cain really fall out, so it’s going to take quite a lot to heal that. And with Aaron as well, because Caleb’s helped John get away.’

Caleb has had some dramatic storylines since arriving in the Emmerdale village, from revealing his secret paternity to helping cover up Anthony’s murder.
However, before joining the Yorkshire-based soap, Will was best known to fans as Waterloo Road’s deputy headteacher Chris Mead.
With Waterloo Road having returned to our screens for its 16th series earlier this month, Metro cameraman Max was keen to know if Will would ever consider a return to the iconic school drama.
‘Yeah totally! If they’ll have me!’ He enthused. ‘But I’m on Emmerdale, aren’t I? But it’s a great programme. A great show. I’m glad they brought it back. It’s really good.’
